The next administration of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will be underpinned by transparency and accountability and aimed at building a strong and resilient economy which will provide social and economic infrastructure.
According to President John Mahama, his second term in office would be used to implement an economic transformation and livelihood empowerment program.
“Beyond the commitment we are making in education, health, social protection and infrastructure , I am poised to implement an economic transformation and livelihood empowerment programâ€, he stated while addressing party faithfuls at the launch of the 2016 NDC manifesto in Sunyani on Saturday.
This economic transformation and livelihood empowerment program, he said, would be characterised by green evolution in agriculture and agro-businesses.
“My next term in office will see the green evolution in Ghana, agriculture and agro-businesses will be a major anchor of the economic transformation and livelihood empowerment program.â€
