Former President John Mahama has broken his silence for the first time on the damning Kwesi Botchwey report which investigated why the NDC lost sadly to the ruling NPP.

The well-protected report has found its way into the media and is being serialized amidst claims by some NDC executives that it is fake.

Even though former president Mahama did not respond directly to aspects of the report against him and his appointees, he tweeted on Tuesday evening poking the media over their fascination with their newly found “handbook.”

In two separate tweet, Mahama took to Twitter saying the Kwesi Botchway report has become a point of reference in “event of crisis.”

Portions of the Kwesi Botchwey report indicate that former Director of Communication at the Presidency under the Mahama administration, Stan Dogbe pocketed monies meant for Journalists who were involved in an accident in 2015.

The report also places a lot of blame on Dr Omane Boamah, former Minister of Communication and Stan Dogbe for lying to the then President Mahama about the fact that he was popular with the electorate, which was not the case.

The 13-member committee report captured that, doing away with Stan Dogbe and Oman Boamah could have earned the President (John Mahama) one million votes so he didn’t have to look to Ashanti region for the one million votes.
