On day one of his Volta Regional tour commenced on October 17, President Mahama has assured Borae and its environs that a bridge will be erected over River Oti so they can have easy passage adding the Korean government has already began the drawings to mount the bridge which he will inaugurate hopefully when still in charge after the December 7 election.

Because of getting mobbed along the journey, certain areas he was to get to at 2pm, were eventually reached at 8pm but despite the delay, the enthusiastic crowd were out in their numbers to behold him.

Candidate Mahama was in Kpando, Nkonya, Kwamekrom, Dambai and Borae where he also commissioned a water project and a new Community Day Senior High School at Kpando and Kwamekrom respectively.

Chiefs thanked him for his efforts regarding roads, schools and improvements in health care delivery.

President John Dramani Mahama will continue his tour of the Volta Region today where he is to touch base at Kpassah, Nkwanta, Kadjebi and Jasikan where he will address a mini rally of party supporters.
