Nana Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, has condemned President John Mahama as a failure, who has nothing to show for his four years in office.
Speaking to the chiefs of Peki in the South Dayi Constituency of the Volta Region, Nana Addo said Mahama’s only achievement was “the publication of the Green Book".
He said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) had no plan for the country and that four more years of Mahama would inflict hardship on Ghanaians.
The NPP leader called on Ghanaians to elect him president in December to enable him fix the economy and create jobs for Ghanaians.
Meanwhile, Akufo-Addo had a boost to his campaign in the region when the Gyaasehene of Abotoase, Nana Ansah Asiedu, assured him that he would win the December elections.
According to Nana Ansah, President Mahama “is already gone†and “has lost the electionâ€.
“… he (Mahama) will go (in December). He has no choice but to go. So we are appealing to you (Nana Akufo-Addo) to resume the payments of compensation when you come into office in January 2017 because it is the means by which some of my people survive,†the chief said.
