The cries of members of the ruling New Patriotic Party's (NPP) communications team in the Ashanti Region have been heard by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia North, Collins Owusu Amankwa who has swiftly responded.
The team came in the news last week when they registered their displeasure over what they felt was the failure on the part government to provide them jobs as they were promised in opposition.
“It has been nearly four months since power was won, and we have absolutely no indication of faith in our leadership of the communications directorateâ€, group wrote in a pres statement to officially suspend their activities until further notice.
Mr Owusu Amankwaa has, however, through his special assistant, Mr. Victor Osei Owusu donated an undisclosed amount of money which was received by the party's regional communications director, Kwasi Kyei.
“This gesture of extreme generosity on your part has reassured communicators that, there are people like you in our great party who really cares for their welfare.  It is, therefore, our hope and prayers that, the Almighty God blesses and replenish all what you have given outâ€, the communications stated in acknowledgement of the donation..
