President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and section 20(1) of the Local Government Act, (Act 462), has nominated five persons to serve as District Chief Executives (DCEs) in five areas.
A statement issued and signed by the Minister of Local Government, Hajia Alima Mahama, Tuesday revealed the nominees as;Â Sarah Dugbukie Pobee for Ada East, Balchisu Yakubu for Tolon, Comfort Attah for Biakoye, Ernest Patrick Kojo Mallet for South Dayi and Ernest Kofie for Jomoro District Assemblies respectively.
All five nominees are expected to go through confirmation at their Regional Electoral Commissions in their respective district assemblies.
