The first of a monthly National Policy Summit will commence today May 15 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The programme which is to be held over a period of two days in every month is a strategic dissemination of information on government programmes and policies to allow ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) communicate their policies to the public.

Deputy Information Minister, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah in an interview with Accra based StarrFm said the summit will also be an opportunity for the public to ask the policy implementers’ all the questions bothering their mind.

The Summit will be opened by the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and would begin with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning and its agencies.

The expectation of the Summit is to build partnerships and elicit feedback to government to enhance further policy formulation.
