Policy Think Tank, IMANI Africa has rated the performance of the governing National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) performance in the last four years giving it 53% which passes for a fair mark.
The Think Tank submitted, having monitored the policies and programme pledges in the party’s 2012 manifesto against what it delivered, the outcome was the data and information published.
Using the IMANI Scale to measure indictors including Economy, Education, Governance, Social Interventions and Policy, the NDC scored 69.4% in Education noting the party increased the funding for sector spending some 8 billion cedis a year.

On Governance, the party scored 90% thanks to its infrastructural advancement but scored a meagre 33% in the fight against corruption while earning 8.3% under rule of law.
On Social Interventions, the John Dramani Mahama led administration scored 52.2% on Improved Living, 81% on Malaria Fight, 5% on Ambulance Services and 15% on Nutrition.
On Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA), the NDC managed 23%. IMANI Africa says the party pledged to provide 119 infrastructural projects and earned 55% on rate of success.

The party thus earned an overall score of 52.9% which IMANI Africa described as fair mark.
