The Assemblyman for New Oribon Electoral Area in the Kwahu South District in the Eastern Region, Hon. Kofi Nkrumah Asante is accusing the Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Tawiah Boateng for misleading the vice president and the general public on September, 22 during the veep’s visit to the Nkawkaw Zongo Community.
Speaking to primenewsghana, he said Mr. Boateng “should come tell us a single road they have initiated and completed in Kwahu.â€
According to him, the NDC chairman made a lot of false statements about the development of Kwahu which he believes are misleading.
On the issue of former President Kufuor jailing some Fulani herdsmen in the area, Hon. Asante noted that “it was not the former president who imprisoned them but rather the republic and he should come clear on that.â€
