NDC's Joseph Ade Coker passes on

Joseph Kobina Ade Coker, a former chairman of the Greater Accra Regional wing of the governing National Democratic Congress has passed on.

 Mr Coker passed away on Saturday, 31 May, at the Bank Hospital in Accra following a short illness.

He served as the NDC’s Greater Accra Regional Chairman from 2009 until 2022, when he was succeeded by Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore after a contested re-election.

Mr Coker was also a former Vice Chairman of the Ghana Football Association, playing a significant role in the country’s sports administration.

The NDC is expected to issue further details on funeral arrangements in the coming days.
