NDC targets 57% of votes on Dec 7

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) is targeting 57% in the upcoming general election, Deputy National Campaign Co-odinator of the party , Mr. Adu Yeboah has disclosed.

According to him, the NDC has already secured 50% and that its main task is to increase the margin by additional 7% .

Speaking at a press conference in Acca Monday, Mr Yeboah dismissed the assertion in some quarters that the unending power crisis will affect its electoral fortunes adding that the president had virtually solved the problem and that Ghanaians will stop talking about it by the end of August.

The NDC campaign coordinator claimed that the energy crisis is only being experienced in the Greater Accra region and that the rural areas have been exempted fron the crisis.
