Supporters of one of the candidates for the National Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic Party NPP are jubilating after sorting out of ballot papers by the Electoral Commission (EC).
Even though counting is yet to begin, moment after the sorting of the ballot papers, supporters of Kate Gyamfua took to the grounds in jubilation after seeing the heap of ballot papers for their preferred candidate.
Per provisional results, Kate Gyamfua garnered 686 votes as against 109 votes for Joyce Zimpare

Kate Gyamfua contested the election with Joyce Zimpare who was the Greater Accra Regional Women’s Organizer from 2014 to 2018.
