The National Executive Committee of the New Patriotic Party are held up in a meeting with the Manifesto Committee which has been tasked to update them on the content of the party’s manifesto set to be unveiled on Sunday at the Trade Fair Centre.

The manifesto is expected to be heavy on job creation and has both presidential and running mate, Nana Akufo-Addo and Bawumia in attendance.

The National Executives are reported to have the power to approve the document but when rejected lead to a revision by the manifesto committee.

However the National Council of the party would have to meet to take the final decision before the Trade Fair unveiling can happen.

Issues the council is set to sit on today includes defeated parliamentary aspirants who have threatened to go independent especially the Bantama case.

Nana Akufo Addo was scheduled to have been to Ablekuma Central Constituency but had to halt the tour over the crucial meet.

Nana Addo is expected to resume his Accra tour at Ashiaman and perhaps visit the Ablekuma West Constituency.
