The Office of the Special Prosecutor has declared 6 wanted on Corruption and Corruption-related offences.
In a statement on Sunday, the Special Prosecutor said 6 are wanted for Corruption and Corruption-related offences in respect of public elections - especially vote buying.
This comes a day after the New Patriotic Party (NPP) elected parliamentary candidates for the orphan constituencies as part of preparations for the 2024 general elections.
During Saturday’s polls, it was observed delegates openly displayed the cash they had received throughout the day in exchange for their votes.
Some of them boldly exhibited their stacks of banknotes to our cameras at the Ablekuma Central polling station.
