The Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and wife Rebecca Akufo-Addo have cast their votes in the ongoing Presidential and Parliamentary Elections ongoing nationwide.
The two voted in Nana Addo’s hometown of Kyebi in the Eastern Region.
Hundreds of enthusiastic NPP supporter cheered wildly and made the change sign as the 72-year-old former foreign affairs minister cast his vote.
Akufo-Addo is hoping to win the presidency on his third attempt.
His rival, President John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress, also cast his ballot at Bole Bamboi.
