The Accra Police Command has assured that sufficient measures have been put in place to maintain law and order, as well as ensure peace and security before, during, and after the Ablekuma North rerun, scheduled for today, Friday, July 11.
Adequate police personnel will be deployed to all locations to maintain peace, law, and order throughout the process.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs, DSP Juliana Obeng.
“In addition to polling station security, police will monitor vehicular and pedestrian traffic around the voting areas. Strategic barriers will be mounted to prevent unauthorized access to polling centers,” the statement added.
