The visit follows President Buhari’s return to Nigeria after an over three (3) months medical leave that got the entire country’s populace asking only one question: “where is our President?”

In a press briefing held after the two emerged from the courtesy meeting, President Akufo-Addo said: “all of us have been very anxious about his (President Buhari) well-being, and it was very good news to hear that he had returned. We are Africans, and it meant that I had to come and see things for myself”.
