Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo said President John Dramani Mahama is engaging in politics of deceit and the biggest threat to the future of the nation.

Speaking at a rally at Weija-Gbawe Constituency in the Greater Accra region he said, Ghanaians are no more interested in politics of deceit.
“As elections get closer, expect to get more goodies from the Mahama government and lot of monies will be spent on freebies to get the vote of Ghanaians but this is not the way the Ghanaians expect to be governed,†he stated.
He added that, they expect to be governed with truth and honesty not deception and lies as well as with policy instead of propaganda.
Ghanaians he said, need a new kind of politics based on principle, policy, and direction and not lies and deceit.
Ghanaians he said should expect government to splash goodies on electorates in a bid to buy their votes ahead of the elections.

He added that the President has moved to restore the nurses and training teachers allowance because of elections and Ghanaians must not pay attention to such promises.
