The Electoral Commission has reminded presidential and parliamentary candidates that they have up to the deadline date of Friday, September 30 to submit their filled forms.
The commission also asked the relevant persons to heed seriously notice to fulfill their tax obligations, declare assets to the auditor general in addition to stating their age, name, sex, political party/independent on photographs attached to the form.
Nomination forms must also be submitted with the requisite filing fees in bankers’ draft as the commission does not accept cheques or cash.
