The Presidency announced this in a statement signed by Spokesperson to the President and Minister of state in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on Tuesday.

According to the statement, Prime Minister Drew will attend Ghana’s 69th Independence Day celebration on Friday, March 6, 2026.

The statement disclosed that Prime Minister Drew and his delegation will commence the official schedule on Wednesday with a meeting with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana.

He will later be hosted at the Presidency for bilateral discussions and an official luncheon.

The statement revealed that Dr. Terrance Michael Drew will visit the W.E.B. DuBois Memorial Centre, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and the Cape Coast Castle during his stay in Ghana.

He will also pay a courtesy call on the Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II.

The statement noted that Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis have been actively strengthening bilateral relations through South-South cooperation, with a focus on exchange programmes in education, health, trade, investment, and technology.

Saint Kitts and Nevis is a dual-island nation in the Caribbean, and this official visit reflects the growing ties between Ghana and Caribbean nations as part of efforts to deepen cooperation among countries of the Global South.
