New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Abuakwa North, Gifty Twum Ampofo speaking at a dialogue of science teachers in Accra submitted, an NPP government under a Nana Addo leadership will make the teaching profession an enviable one observing lack of laboratories especially at the basic schools, lack of qualified teachers to handle the courses and little incentive for science teachers have all conspired to hamper the advancement of science in the country.
Prince Addo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), noted the teaching of science and mathematics has been strengthened at the secondary and tertiary levels through varied interventions.
