The Leadership pro-National Democratic Congress (NDC) group, Young Democratic Cadres (YODEC) contends the New Patriotic Party’s Member of Parliament for the Suhum constituency misled Ghanaians when Hajia Samira Bawumia visted the constituency.

Communication officer for YODEC speaking to primenewsghana.com noted Mr. Ansah told a lie regarding the construction of a road in Suhum.
“Mr. Opare Ansah said he lobbied for an 8.8km road to be constructed in Suhum in 2008 but the NDC government has cancelled it and brought 5km road construction which we believe is a lie and we dare him to provided documents to that effect.”
In a statement dated August 22, 2016, the group is calling on the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament and all public security agencies to probe what the audit report says to expose lies of the MP.
Below is the full press statement:

YODEC EXPOSING THE LIES OF OPARE ANSAH(NPP P.C FOR
SUHUM)
The leadership of Young Democratic Cadres( YODEC) is expressing great disappointment in the Npp parliamentary candidate for
Suhum constituency with regards to the untrue statements made by him at a ceremony during the visit of Hajia Samira Bawumia  on the 18th August 2016 in
the constituency.
We therefore release this communique to address and expose the blatant lies and deception peddled by Opare Ansah during the said gathering.
Opare Ansah, the NPP  Mp for suhum unfortunately stated that He lobbied and the Npp government in 2008 gave 8.8km of the  suhum
township roads to him to be constructed, but the Ndc government cancelled the contract and came back to construct a 5km township roads for suhum. Therefore, the people of suhum should ask the government where the remaining 3.8 km of roads is.
We(Yodec) find this statement abysmal and infantile because the MP, Opare Ansah on various platform has stated that he is the one constructing the cocoa roads in the constituency.

However, he is now telling us to question the government on the same road he is claiming to construct. YODEC sees these statements made by the Opare Ansah the NPP MP very contradictory and double standard.
Also we put it to him that in 2008 the only road he promised the people of suhum is to construct the Accra-Kumasi high which he failed and per our investigations Opare Ansah had no influence on the road and never mentioned any 8.8km construction of township roads to us.
Upon our checks from the municipal we dare him to provide documents on the construction of the awarded township road and also indicate where he constructed the two and half km road he made mention of.
If Opare Ansah cannot to do this, it goes to confirm his politics of deception and we tasks him to come back and apologize for telling lies to the good people of suhum.
In addition, the MP also accused the auriferous M.C.E for Suhum who doubles  as the NDC parliamentary candidate; Hon. Margaret Ansei (a.k.a Magoo) for stealing Municipal assembly money and also using government cars for her campaign.
We feel sorry for him once again for discrediting his own reputation with this ''immature", "stultify", and "mountebank" statement.
We want to encourage the public to discard his accusation on the auriferous and hard working Magoo and would like to state that
Hon. Margaret Ansei is well resourced from her hard end work and she is here to relief the people suhum from our stand still nature to the promise land.
We will also like to bring to bare that if we want the most stealing and thievery personality in suhum, then we cannot go beyond Opare Ansah, we are saying this base on the 2013 audit service report that the MP for suhum, Opare Ansah is involve in fitisous deals using fake receipts to make claims of his common fund and these has been going on for the past 12years.

All these is what YODEC describes as broad day robbery and we humbly called on Public Accounts Committee of Parliament and all public security agency to probe what the audit report says to bare.
Opare Ansah has Robbed us for
long, hence a time for us to show him the exit way.
His sharing of ofos ( second hand dresses ) is no longer gaining him votes so he want to use lies but Falsehood shall always be defeated by truth.
Truth stands.
