The Supreme Court will today deliver its verdict in the case between the Electoral Commission (EC) and the Progressive People’s Party (PPP).
The EC is by a motion seeking to quash an Accra High Court ruling which directed that the PPP presidential nominee, Dr. Ndoum be afforded the opportunity by the EC to effect corrections or defects on his nomination paper.
A 7 member panel headed by Justice Mrs. Sophia Adinyira will sit to offer judgement.
The EC argues that beyond clerical errors as claimed by some of the presidential nominees, their disqualification also bothered on fraudulent claims and misrepresentations.
