It is obvious that the ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC) are not giving up on their quest to stage a debate between their Flagbearer President John Dramani and the opposition New Patriotic Party(NPP)’s, Nana Akuffo Addo.
Though the NPP have indicated that they are not ready to grant the request of the NDC, the continuous call might get the NPP to consider accepting the challenge.
The campaign coordinator of the NDC, Kofi Adams asked NPP to stop running away and present themselves for a debate in order to get the records straight.
Speaking at a campaign launch of the NDC Parliamentary Candidate at Krowor in Accra, Kofi Adams said, the debate must be staged to give opportunity to Ghanaians to know the truth.
Otherwise he said, the NPP and Nana Addo would continue fabricating lies which Ghanaians do not deserve.
Nana Addo he said, must appear for the debate.
President John Mahama initiated the call for Nana Akuffo Addo to come face-to-face with him for a debate on the state of the nation’s economy but the NPP has since declined the challenge.
