The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Ledzokuku constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Dr. Okoe Boye has beaten incumbent Sena Okity-Duah to become the newly elected Member of Parliament for the area.

He has currently polled 45,259 votes as against the 45,092 votes recorded by the former beauty queen Mrs. Okity-Duah.

Over the years, MP’s have only enjoyed one term making it one of the toughest constituencies in the country and the decider of the Presidential seat.

With the Parliamentary seat going in the way of the NPP, Nana Akufo- Addo also held a close battle with President John Mahama in the Presidential race. Nana Addo recorded 43,878 as against 44,293 recorded by the President Mahama.
