Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has pledged to fulfil all the campaign promises he has made if he wins Wednesday's presidential election.

According to him, if he is voted into power he will do his best to put a factory in every district across the country and give every constituency $1m to deal with issues of sanitation, water and infrastructure as he has promised.

Addressing a charged crowd at the party's final rally to climax its 2016 Campaign at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra on Sunday, he reiterated, "if God gives me victory, what I can do I will, what I can't I won't but I won't disappoint Ghanaians. I will never mislead or lie to the people of Ghana; I'll do all the things I have promised".

"We have the men. [Dr Mahamudu] Bawumia. [Alan] Kyeremateng and the rest" and "we are going to build a new Ghanaian civilisation that is going to be the light of Africa", he added.

For this, he urged Ghanaians to ignore any attempts to libel him and his party officials going into the homestretch of the election and vote massively for him and the NPP's parliamentary candidates.

"With just 48 hours to the elections, you will hear libellous statements about me and my running mate, other officials  and the party itself but don't pay any attention to them" because they know they have lost.
