Yoghurt seller apprehended at Dansoman for pulling knife during polls

In a spate of few irregularities that occured during the concluded Ghana's Presidential and Parliamentary polls which was generally peaceful and transparent, a yoghurt seller was arrested at Ablekuma West constituency for allegedly pulling a knife to threaten someone.

Sergeant Mike Beteh of the Dansoman Police said the service received a distress call that a young man was wielding a knife the area.Sgt Beteh said the patrol team apprehended the suspect and he is currently in custody awaiting a complainant.

Meanwhile, the entire area remained calm and polls went on successfully.
