The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the date for the start of the 2023/24 betPawa Ghana Premier League football season.
The competition kicks off on the weekend of Friday, September 15, 2023, to Monday, September 18, 2023.
This follows the approval of the calendar of the season by the Executive Council of the Association.
According to the country's football governing body, fixtures for the season will be announced in due course.
Furthermore, September 3, 2023 has been announced as the date for the Champion of Champions match to be honored ahead of the 2023/2024 league season.
This decider game is to be played between the betPawa Premier League Champions Medeama SC and MTN FA Cup winners Dreams FC according to Article 9 of the Premier League Regulations, 2019 (PLR).
The GFA has informed, "all clubs and stakeholders of the betPawa Ghana Premier League to take note of the dates."
