Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams has joined the Black Stars squad to prepare for AFCON 2023.
The attacker arrived in Kumasi on Friday, January 5, 2024 after recovering from an illness that delayed his trip from Bilbao to Accra to join the squad in readiness for the continent's flagship competition.
Inaki who has represented Ghana twelve times and scored one goal took part in full training later on Friday.
The Black Stars will wrap up preparations for the tournament with a friendly against Namibia on Monday, January 8, 2024.
The Black Stars are Group B alongside Cape Verde, giants Egypt and Mozambique.
The team will kick start their tournament against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14, 2024 before taking on Egypt and Mozambique in the other group games.
The AFCON 2023 is scheduled for January 13 to February 11.
