AshantiGold beat Accra Great Olympics 3-1 in their Ghana Premier League second week fixture played at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
All credit to Hans Kwofie who scored the first hat-trick of the 2017 league season and ensured that AshGold walked away with maximum three points.
Kwofie broke the deadlock in the 39th minute with a superb strike before finding the back of the net again in the 42nd minute.
Just when the game was heading into recess, Kwofie rounded things up with another goal in the 46th minute to complete his hat-trick.
Olympics came back strongly in the second half but only managed to get a goal as AshGold held on to the three points.
