The Ghana U20 female team the Black Princesses have qualified for the 2018 female U20 World Cup in France.

The Princesses beat Cameroon 3-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday to make the finals.

Ghana drew 1-1 with Cameroon a fortnight ago and they needed all three points to see them through.

The Princesses started the game the stronger of the two sides and opened the scoring through right back Ernestina Abambila.

They took full control of the game in the 39th minute when Princella Adubea doubled the lead to make it 2-0 to Ghana before halftime.

Black Princesses are through to the World Cup in France

Former female U17 striker Sandra Owusu Ansah came off the bench to score for Ghana in the 77th minute to seal a 3-0 victory and make it 4-1 on aggregate.

The 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup will be the 9th edition of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, the biennial international women's youth football championship contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of FIFA.

The tournament will be held in France between 5 and 24 August 2018, who will also host the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup a year later
