John Paintsil, the assistant coach of Black Stars has filed a lawsuit against Multimedia Group, Omni Media Limited, Angel Broadcasting Network, and four individuals.

The lawsuit is regarding false accusations made against him, questioning his coaching credentials, following his recent appointment.

The defendants, which include Patrick Osei Agyemang (also known as Countryman Songo), Christopher Nimeley, Saddick Adams, and Veronica Commey, are being sued for making these unfounded claims about Paintsil’s qualifications.

A writ of summons lists seven defendants, with Paintsil as the plaintiff. During a program on Angel FM in Accra, Saddick Adams called for an investigation into Paintsil’s alleged forgery.

The defendants are expected to respond to the lawsuit in the coming days.

Meanwhile, on his Fire for Fire program on Adom FM, Countryman Songo verbally attacked Paintsil over his alleged fake certificate.

John Paintsil was recently appointed as assistant coach to Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, ahead of Ghana’s friendly games against Nigeria and Uganda in Marrakech.
