Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac meets Sherrif Tiraspol midfielder Edmund Addo in Milan

Edmund Addo of Sherrif Tiraspol is about to get his chance with the Black Stars after Milovan Rajevac watched him versus Inter Milan last night.

The 21-year-old was in action on Tuesday as Sheffiff played an away tie with Inter Milan at the San Siro.

Sheriff suffered their first defeat of the competition losing 3-1 to the Serie A champions in matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League.

Despite the defeat,  Addo's Sheriff top Group D with 6 points.

Edmund Addo who shot to fame following his team's impressive performance against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabau met the Black Stars coach after the game.

The midfielder could be handed his maiden Black Stars call up for next month's 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia and South Africa.

Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac in a recent interview said the future of Ghana football is bright considering the talents in the system.

"It is not easy to compare but definitely the last generation was very strong and successful and in this generation I can see a lot of talents, many beautiful talents for the future so Ghanaians shouldn’t worry about the future of Ghana football, he told GFA media.
