Ghana Black Stars and Leicester City defender, Daniel Amartey will return to face his former club for the first time since January when FC Copenhagen host Leicester in the Champions league game on Wednesday.
Leicester would be hoping to maintain their remarkable run in the champions league after winning all three games but it might just be more than a victory for Amartey who would be hoping to be received with love by Copenhagen fans.
Now used at midfield due to the absence of N’Golo Kante, Amartey would be hoping to cement a place at the center for his club,while giving his former team something to cheer about.
Amartey only featured for three minutes when Copenhagen visited the King Power Stadium but might get a better playing time in Wednesday’s game.
It would be an emotional return for Amartey as he plays on a familiar ground but against the club that made his famous.
