Ivory Coast started their title defense campaign on a rather slow note after they were held to a goalless draw by Togo in their first Group C match of the Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON) in Gabon.

They now have to snatch three points today,by the skin of their teeth against a DR Congo side who are determined to qualify to the next stage of the competition after winning their first game against Morocco.

DR Congo did not only walk away with three points but sent shivers down the spines of other teams as they played some amazing football and gave their opponents a very tough time especially at the attacking end.

Though Ivory Coast could boost of a very good team from attack to defense, DR Congo has also proved that they have the men to frustrate any opponent.

The team dominated possession in their first game but were unable to get through the defense of Togo to find the back of the net.

However, Ivory Coast must manage to penetrate the defense of DR Congo in order to get the win that would ensure that they get on track to defend their title.

Meanwhile, Togo would also come against Morocco in the other Group C game as both teams would be looking forward to a win.

Emmanuel Adebayor would be leading Togo in a bid to get a win over Morocco and hope the other result would go in their favour.
