Deportivo Alavés midfielder Mubarak Wakaso doubtful ahead of Girona clash

Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is doubtful for Deportivo Alaves clash against Girona in the Copa Del Rey after picking up an injury over the weekend.

Wakaso picked up the injury after colliding with Ximo Navarro in the game against Villarreal over the weekend.

Despite the collision, the 28-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game but underwent medical tests immediately after the clash and the report shows a "grade I-II sprain in the acromioclavicular joint of his left shoulder.

However, Wakaso is expected to be back in action for Deportivo Alaves over the weekend against Eiber in the La Liga.
