Hazard's strike has ended Liverpool's '100' record as the Blues held Jurgen Klopp's side to a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League.

Liverpool started the game on a front foot as they look to avenge the defeat inflicted on them by Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

Willian struck the first shot on target for the host in the 22nd minute as he forced a good save from Alisson after a fantastic pass over the defence by David Luiz.

Three minutes later, Eden Hazard showed Liverpool what he can do best as he struck the ball into the far corner with his left foot after a swift one-two play with Kovacic.

Mohammed nearly equalized for the Reds as he wriggled away from Alonso and skipped past Arrizabalaga, the Egyptian then tap the ball only for only for Rudiger to get back and boot it off the line as the first half ended 1-0.

The second half started as the first with both outfits looking to steal all three point.

Liverpool's persistent pressure paid off with a wonderfully struck ball by substitute Sturridge in the 88th minute.

The Englishman received the ball 25 yards from goal, he took a touch, looked up and unleashed a thunderous shot that flew over Kepa and right into the far top corner.

The mouth-watering encounter ended as Chelsea hold Liverpool to a 1-1 draw.
