Ex-Hearts of Oak striker Cosmos Dauda joins Lebanese club Salam Zgharta

Lebanese football club, Salam Zgharta has secured the services of Ghanaian international Cosmos Dauda on a two-year deal in a bid to boost their chances for success at the end of the 2019/2020 season.

Formerly of Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak, the striker agreed to join the side after successful passing his mandatory medicals.

Dauda, 26, will be expected to lead the lines for Salam Zgharta to help them better their performance from last season where they finished 10th on the Lebanese Premier League.

Speaking at his unveiling the goal poacher said, he is fired up for the task ahead and collectively the team can achieve record a better finish at the end of the 2019/2020 season.

“It’s a new environment and new teammates, the expectations are always huge but with individual brilliance and collective abilities we should finish the season in a high”, Cosmos said.

He last featured for Jordan-based Al Faisaly for two seasons which will serve as an experience for him he begins a new chapter in another Asia country.
