FIFA has approved Ghana’s request to admit 4,000 spectators to watch Saturday’s Group G FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifier against Zimbabwe.
This is an improvement on the 2,250 spectators that were allowed to watch Ghana’s opener against Ethiopia in Cape Coast.
Per the requirements of the Protocols, the Safety and Security Officer of the GFA, Julius Ben Enumah shall together with all the relevant stakeholders including the COVID-19 Officer, Dr. Christine Baah ensure strict adherence of the directive.
The GFA consequently advises all Ghanaians to obey all the Protocols strictly to first and foremost have a successful match and also to avoid any sanctions from CAF and FIFA.

The Group G encounter between Ghana and Zimbabwe will kick off at 16:00GMT on Saturday, October 9, 2021.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars on Wednesday evening defeated lower-tier side Soccer Intellectuals by 8-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
A brace each from Kamaldeen Sulemana and Fatawu Isshaku plus Benjamin Tetteh, Mohammed Kudus, Yaw Yeboah and Joel Fameye goals saw the Senior National team carried the day.Â
The Black Stars romped to a 4-0 victory after the first 45 minutes before adding another four goals in the second half to make it 8-0.
Despite the free-scoring nature of the team, misfiring striker Jordan Ayew failed to score and even missed a penalty kick.
