Smartly dressed executives of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) and hundreds of football lovers stormed the Kotoka International Airport to welcome President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino into the country.
The FIFA boss, who is in the country on a day working tour was received by President of GFA, Kwesi Nyantekyi and Vice George Afriyie and other stakeholders amidst drumming and dancing.
Infantino arrived at the airport around 10am with GFA executives already at the venue awaiting his arrival.
After exchanging pleasantries with dignitaries at the airport, the FIFA President joined a convoy which headed to the Flagstaff House for a meeting with President Nana Akufo-Addo.
His visit is expected to turn around the fortunes of Ghana football for the better as there would be discussions with stakeholders in the sector.
