Hearts of Oak were held by Liberty Professionals to a 2-2 draw at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in a friendly.
The friendly-match was an end to end stuff with both teams committing more men forward obviously because nothing was at stake following the halt of the Zylofon Cash Premier League.
It was the Phobians who found the back of the net first. Patrick Razak picked out Joseph Esso who struck home to give the Phobians the lead.
A few munites after the goal, Liberty Professionals improved their game with as Papa Arko shot hit the crossbar.
Hearts doubled their lead in the first half through Joseph Esso who lifted the ball up before struck it into the top corner.Seven minutes to halftime, the Scientific Soccer lads pulled one back. It was veteran Papa Arku who teed up Eshun who struck home to give Liberty Professionals a lifeline.
The first half ended 1-2 in favour of the Hearts of Oak with the Phobians being the better side.
Five munites into the second half, the Scientific Soccer lads restored parity. Eshun met a cross with a bullet header to keep the scoreline level 2-2.

Liberty Professionals were the better side in the second but failed to convert their chances to win the game.
Two braces from Joseph Esso of Hearts of Oak and Benjamin Eshun of Liberty Professionals ensured the game will end in a draw.
