GFA Presidency: Kweku Osei Palmer to launch manifesto today

GFA Presidential hopeful Wilfred Osei Kweku is set to launch his manifesto today, October 2 in his bid to win the upcoming Ghana FA election.

The event will be staged at the Alisa Hotel (Bostio Hall) in Accra at exactly 2:00 pm.

The Bankroller of Tema Youth is considered as one of the top favourites to win the GFA Presidential elections which will be held on October 25.

Palmer served as an Executive committee member, Vice President of Black Stars management committee and also Chairman of Ghana U-20 team during the erstwhile administration.

The football adminstrator yesterday denied rumours he has been disqualified to contest in the upcoming GFA elections.

 "Setting the record straight! Ihave not been disqualified from the GFA presidential race. Please ignore all rumours.#P4P"

Over the weekend, Kweku Osei Palmer was among the 6 other personalities who faced the Vetting Committee answering questions on why they should be allowed to contest in the upcoming elections.

He took his turn on Saturday and after the facing the panel for over two hours and he disclosed to the media that, the 5-man committee squeezed every juice out of him but he survived the test. 

 “Wow, they push me but I will say it went well. I was able to give explanations to some of the questions raised and I am most grateful. The Almighty had me prepared for most of the issues that they raised.”

The vetting results are expected to be announced in the coming days before the main elections are held on October 25.
