The Black Stars of Ghana drew 1-1 with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a friendly match played yesterday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in South Africa.
The Stars were hoping to get back to winning ways after their goalless draw with Uganda in the World Cup qualifier at Tamale but settled for yet another draw.
Mubarak Wakaso gave the Stars the lead in the first half through a spot kick but the host equalized early in the second half with Ayanda Patosi scoring at the edge of the box.
Both teams played some good football in search of the winning goal but the resilience of each team’s defense ensured that no goal was conceded.
The teams used the game as part of preparations for their next 2018 World Cup qualification games.
