League leaders Aduana FC added to the woes of Accra Hearts of Oak as they inflicted a 1-0 win om the Phobians at Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Sunday.

Forward Bright Adjei scored the only goal of the game in the 70th minute to give the leaders their first win in three games.

Aduana FC suffered back to back defeats to Karela United and Accra Lions and looked determined to get back to winning ways.

Accra Hearts of Oak have been a pale shadow of themselves this season having suffered two defeats, drawn two and won once on the road in the campaign.

After a barren first half, Bright Adjei scored from a free kick to give his side all the spoils at Dormaa.

The result keeps the Ogya lads at the top of the table with 24 points.

Elsewhere at Sogakope, Brazilian import, Joe Silva de Santana scored a priceless goal in the 73rd minute for Nations FC in a 1-0 win over Accra Lions.

FC Samartex continued their impressive performance with a 2-0 win over Bofoakwa Tano at the Abrankese.

Evans Osei Wusu scored from the spot to open the scoring inside 45 minutes before Michael Ephson added the winner in the 89th minute.

Meanwhile, high flying Nsoatreman FC made light work of Bibiani Gold Stars as they scored two goals in either half to grab the points - giving Maxwell Konadu only his second win on the road.

Collins Kofi Kudjoe opened the scoring for Nsoatreman FC just before the half time whistle but Emmanuel Appau leveled matters for Bibiani Gold Stars. Star man Abdul Manaf Umar fetched the winner for Nsoatreman FC in the 70th minute.

Nsoatreman FC thus keep hold of the second spot in the League standings level on 24 points with leaders Aduana FC.

Finally on Sunday, Bechem United traveled up north to devour Karela United in a thriller.

Emmanuel Avornyor, Augustine Okrah and Emmanuel Annor scored four beautiful goals to give Bechem United yet another win on the road.

Emmanuel Avornyor scored in the 37th minute as Bechem United went into the break with a slim lead.

After the interval, Augustine Okrah scored two quick fire goals in the 54th and 60th minutes before Emmanuel Annor wrapped things up in added time.
