GPL Week 16: Hearts move to second on log

The second round of the Ghana Premier League kicked off with seven home wins and a draw.

Ebusua Dwarfs recorded their third win of the season after beating Liberty Professionals 1-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium. Christopher Bonney scored the only goal for Dwarfs.

Godfred Asiamah’s lone goal for New Edubiase United was enough to hand them a 1-0 win over Medeama SC.

A second half goal by Cosmos Dauda won all three points for Hearts of Oak as they recorded a 1-0 victory over Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Abdul Ganiu scored the only goal as Wa All Stars defeated Berekum Chelsea 1-0 at the WA Park.

Goals from Stephen Manu and Amos Frimpong saw Techiman City share spoils with Asante Kotoko as the game ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

Inter Allies posted a 1-0 win over Sekondi Hasaacas, thanks to a strike from Fredrick Boateng.

WAFA defeated defending Champions Asante Kotoko 2-1 at the Sogakope Park.

Abednego Tetteh and Yaw Arnol scored twice for Bechem United as the beat Aduana Stars 2-1. Bright Adjei got the consolation for Aduana Stars.
