Accra Hearts of Oak have announced  their second major change in technical direction for the season.

Assistant Coach Yaw Preko is to replace current first team coach Sergio Traguil for the remainder of the season.

The change comes after the Phobians suffered a 3-1 at Bechem United on Sunday, leaving them six points behind league leaders, Wa All Stars with three games to play and ultimately ending their hopes of winning the league title this season.

The club has endured a not go good run of form,  failing to win any of their last seven games in the league under Traguil who replaced Japanese coach, Kenichi Yatsuyashi.

He will now revert to his original role as coach of the club’s development team, Auroras.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the club said the appointment of Yaw Preko as head coach would give the technical team a ‘boost’.
