Accra Hearts of Oak lost their Week 10 2016/17 Ghana Premier League clash with arch-rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Monday but it was not all negative for them on the day as they acrued record gate proceeds.

According to ghanasoccernet, the Phobians took home a whopping GH¢450,000 as gates proceeds from the fixture.
Over 38,000 tickets were printed for the game but reports indicated a shortage of match tickets as at 10am Monday morning, hours before kickoff at the Accra Sports Stadium.
