Hearts Of Oak have expressed interest in signing former Asante Kotoko attacking midfielder, Augustine Okrah after terminating his contract with Indian side NorthEast United.

The Rainbow team are keen on acquiring the former Ghana Premier League goal-king who is currently in Ghana after he mutually terminated his contract with Indian outfit NorthEast United a couple of months ago.

Hearts Of Oak have already made some few signings and it looks likely the former Al Hilal star will be added onto coach Kim Grant's team.

Okrah started his professional football career at Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko in 2012 but was sent on loan to Liberty Professionals.

He then moved to Bechem United where he excelled and scored 16 goals to be crowned Ghana Premier League goal-king in 2014, he joined top-tier Swedish club BK Hacken on loan from Bechem. He recently joined NorthEast United from Sudanese side Al-Hilal FC but injury thwarted him from excelling at the club.

The 25-year-old skillful winger has been a quick and fast-rising player since he excelled with Bechem United, winning the golden boot in the 2013-14 Ghana Premier League.
