Hearts of Oak have mutually parted ways with the club's interim manager David Ocloo.

This was revealed by the Accra-based club in a statement on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

The club wished him the best in his next endeavour.

David Ocloo, the former Asante Kotoko coach was appointed Hearts of Oak assistant coach in October 2022.

He replaced Hamza Obeng, who was sacked alongside Head Coach, Samuel Boadu.

Later in March 2023, Ocloo was tasked to take charge of the club after the head coach Slavko Matic was advised to stay away from the club until further notice by Ghana Police.

Ocloo led Hearts of Oak to a 12-place finish at the end of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

Relatedly, Hearts of Oak have announced the release of defender Robert Addo Sowah.
