Hearts of Oak have refuted claims that head coach Kim Grant is unhappy and wants to depart from the club.

Media reports circulated on Monday morning that, Kim Grant is unhappy with Mark Noonan's departure and he wants also wants out.

According to the reports, Kim Grant's feels insecure because the former Hearts of Oak CEO ideologies convinced him to join the club.

However, in a statement released by the club's Communications Director, Kwame Opare Addo debunked claims of Kim Grant's exit and said the coach is committed to his work. 

“The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited wishes to appeal to the general sporting public, especially the team’s followers to disregard all media reports making rounds that the club’s Director of Football and First Team head coach, Kim Grant will not return to the club the head of the technical team,” the statement read.

“We wish to remind our followers that Kim Grant is committed to the Hearts of Oak project and delighted, and ready to work with the new CEO Frederick Moore whom he has already had productive discussions with to bring success to the club,” the statement added.
